NBA – The Pistons Let 8 Point Lead Slip Away

The Pistons let an eight-point lead slip away late in the game and lost to the Grizzlies 103-101 Thursday night in Memphis.

The defeat marks the second time this season Detroit lost to Memphis on a last second play, as Mario Chalmers hit a jump shot with less than one second left in the game.

Last month, the Grizzles won on a half-court shot at the buzzer at The Palace.

Stanley Johnson led the Pistons with 19 points, Ersan Ilyasova added 17 points and Marcus Morris and Reggie Jackson each scored 12.

The Pistons (21-18) host the Golden State Warriors at The Palace Saturday.
