The Red Wings were clipped by the St. Louis Blues 2-1 Wednesday night at the Joe Louis Arena.
Henrik Zetterberg scored Detroit’s lone goal late in the third period on a power play to cut the St. Louis lead in half, but the Wings could not get the equalizer to force overtime.
Petr Mrazek turned aside 18 shots in the loss.
Detroit heads to Buffalo to skate against the Sabres tomorrow night.
