12th-ranked Michigan State rolled over Northwestern 76-45 on the road Thursday night.
Denzel Valentine led the Spartans with 19 points, Matt McQuaid added 17 points and Deyonta Davis had 8 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
The Spartans hit a season-high 16 3-pointers, just one shy of tying the school record for 3-pointers, set in February 2012 against Purdue.
For the game, Michigan State was 16 for 26 from long range.
For as hot as Michigan State was, the Wildcats were equally cold, shooting a paltry 20.7 percent from the field for the game.
MSU, 18-4 overall and 5-4 in the Big Ten, will tip off against Rutgers in East Lansing Sunday.
