College Basketball – Michigan State and Michigan Play In The NCAA Tournament Today

The second-seed Michigan State Spartans begin their quest for a National Title this afternoon when they take on 15-seed Middle Tennessee State in the Midwest Region.

Tip-off in St. Louis is 2:45 p.m.

MSU, the nations second ranked team according to the AP Top-25 poll, is coming into the Tourney fresh off their Big Ten Tournament Championship.

They post a record of 29-and-5.

The winner of this game game takes on the winner of seven-seed Dayton and 10th-seed Syracuse.

The 11th-seed Michigan Wolverines take on sixth-seed Notre Dame (21-11) tonight in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

Tip-off in Brooklyn is 9:40 p.m.

Michigan (23-12) is coming off a 67-62 win over Tulsa Wednesday in the First Four play-in game.
