MLB – Steven Moya Homers Twice To Lead The Tigers

Posted on June 23, 2016 in Sports News - Yooper & Michigan.

Right-fielder Steven Moya homered twice to lead the Tigers to a 5 to 1 win over the Seattle Mariners, last night, at Comerica Park.

It was an up-and-down outing for an under-the-weather Michael Fulmer.

He only went four-and-a-third innings…..allowing just one run on three hits.

Miguel Cabrera hit a home run in the first inning.

Jose Iglesias drove a pitch off the left field fence to score two.

Kyle Ryan got the win in relief.

The win is the third in a row for the Tigers…..who remain four-and-a-half games behind Cleveland in

the chase for first place in the Central Division.

The series wraps up this afternoon at Comerica Park.

Daniel Norris gets his first start of the season, up against Adrian Sampson of the Mariners.

Start time is at 1:10.
