MLB – The Indians Beat The Tigers Again – Miggy Is An All-Star

Posted on July 6, 2016 in Professional Sports News.

It is now 11 straight wins for the Cleveland Indians over the Tigers this season.

Victory #11 came last night.

The Indians pounded Detroit, 12 to 1, at Progressive Field.

It was a rough night for starter Anibal Sanchez……as he was rocked for 7 runs in just four-and-a- third innings of work.

The series wraps up in Cleveland with a day game today.

Michael Fulmer will start for the Tigers and Josh Tomlin will take the mound for the Indians.

The first pitch is scheduled for 12:10.

First Baseman Miguel Cabrera was the only Tiger named to the American League roster for next week’s All-star Game in San Diego.

Cabrera will be a reserve, backing up the Royals’ Eric Hosmer…..who was voted to start by the fans.

Second Baseman Ian Kinsler is one of five players who are in the ‘Final Vote’ competition to claim the last American League roster spot.

The fan voting for that final roster berth will end on Friday.
