College Sports – Service Academies Change Policy For Athletes

Posted on July 13, 2016 in Professional Sports News.

According to reports…service academy athletes are now eligible to pursue careers in professional sports immediately after graduation.

The shift in policy was inspired by navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds, who was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of this year’s draft.

In the past, service academy athletes had to serve two years of active duty before they were

free to play for a pro team.
