NFL – The Packers And The Lions Both Win

The Green Bay Packers held off a late rally by the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Packers beat the Jags 27 to 23.

Aaron Rodgers was 20 of 34 for 199 yards, passing for two touchdowns and running for one.

Eddie Lacy had 14 carries for 61 yards.

Next week the Packers will be in Minnesota to open the Vikings new stadium.

Game time is 8:30.


The Lions scored first and went on to beat the Indianapolis Colts 39 to 35 in Indianapolis.

Mathew Stafford was 31 of 39 for 340 yards and three touchdowns.

Ameer Abdullah had 12 carries for 63 yards.

The Lions are at home next week against the Tennessee Titans.

Game time is 1:00.
