NHL – The Red Wings Start Well – But Come Up Short

Posted on October 14, 2016 in Professional Sports News.

The Detroit Red Wings had a good start last night, jumping out to a two-goal lead in the first period.

But unfortunately the Tampa Bay Lightening fought back to gain a 6 to 4 win.

Tomas Vanek had two goals.

Petr Mrazek took the loss after stopping 30 of 35 shots on goal.

The Wings are right back to work tomorrow night when they take on the Florida Panthers.
